You find yourself in a serene pond...
'is this outside the monastary?'
that can't be, rather, you're in the middle of it.

"If you were a plant, what would you be?"

Before, I answered "a little piece of moss under some shade,
with the occasional sunshine every now and then. A small patch, soft and fuzzy"
progressively, I saw the same piece of moss but in a dessert. Because somehow moss is still able to live in both dim shaded and harshly lit and dry areas.
then it evolved into "a cactus, because I like to prick people to stay away"

Now? I feel like "ren", a single lily pad floating in clean, still waters.
Just floating there with a pink flower on top under the clear skies.
There's other lily pad's here and there but most of them smaller and far away from the only one with the bloomed flower.
Aren't lily pads usually huddled together in large quantities?
Lily pads don’t root deeply. Maybe that's also why I feel like I don't have clear roots.
But most importantly, all these plants don't have deep roots.

I am a plant that is provided to by God, but never the environment entirely. In that way, I am forever alone.

You peer into the surface of the water. What do you see?
